Book Three: The Book of the Divine Mother
Aswapati now sets his sail towards the mysterious realms of the Infinite. He launches himself into an infinite adventure.
Aswapati is now absorbed in the Infinite. He is now turned towards the Transcendent Source of all things.
Aswapati is now prepared for entering the infinite Truth of the Transcendent Supramental realm. He must leave behind all that belongs to the world of forms, all that is ever-changing and transient.
All of Aswapati’s being is now completely under the Divine Influence. His nature stands transformed and fulfilled even as his soul.
Aswapati must take now the last bare step before he can enter the kingdom of the Spirit. He must make the last grand sacrifice.
Since creation emerges from the Inconscience where it had plunged, there is the pull that the Inconscience exerts on the ascending soul. The tackling of these subconscious elements is important at some stage in the yoga.

Aswapati has come all the way with an aspiration for the redemption of the world. He is fulfilled and overwhelmed by the marvellous vision of the Divine Mother.
It is She who holds within Her the New Creation and can give it to those who are ready and willing.

This remarkable Canto is liberating and transformative as it reveals to us in a glimpse who the Divine Mother is. Just to know Her is so reassuring.
Aswapati’s wonderful vision of the Divine Mother opens the doors to a new and unprecedented possibility, the possibility of terrestrial transformation.
It is Her touch that will bring the harmony we need, the wisdom we lack and the bliss we blindly and ignorantly seek. She is our hope for the Future.
She is the Supreme Power that alone can change the course of Time and transmute this life of ignorance and pain and mould it into a life of Truth and Bliss and Immortality.
The Divine Mother holds the key to terrestrial transformation since She is the origin, the womb and the cause of it. In Her all opposites are reconciled in a manifold unity.
Aswapati now comes in contact with the Divine Supernature that is concealed in the Unknowable. It is the heart of the Unknowable and it is only through Her that the Unknowable can be known.

The Divine Mother now appears on the threshold in response to Aswapati’s aspiration towards terrestrial transformation. What follows in the rest of the Canto is this wonderful vision and adoration of the Divine Mother.
There is the goal of self-annulment into the silence of nirvana. But that leaves out the purpose of creation. Creation, on the other hand strives towards progressive perfection through a progressive divine manifestation. It is this secret that Aswapati is seeking.
Escape and withdrawal from creation leave the very question of creation and its secret purpose unanswered. This is what Aswapati is here to discover.
