Aswapati is now drawn more and more into the Unmanifest Divine and the Perfection that ever dwells there.

Even as Aswapati waited at the gates of the Supermind with a nature that has grown tranquil, pure and still, bereft of ego and desire, one with the cosmic consciousness, he is suddenly drawn inside as if a vast sea was turning its waters inside.

Though this oneness is the eternal Truth of our being and of the world this is normally hidden under the thick cover of ignorance. Now that this ignorance is slain, this deeper hidden Truth is uncovered and emerges unhindered. Held by this tremendous Oneness and Love Aswapati witnesses the birth of a New World.

As Aswapati enters the Supramental world he discovers that there are many worlds where perfection and oneness is the law of life.

Aswapati has entered the House of the Spirit and is ‘seeing’ and experiencing the mode of life there. The mind or the faculty of understanding there is a splendid Ray of the Sun of truth.

It does not depend upon the imperfect data of limited senses but is able to pierce behind appearances and directly know the Truth through identity. Not only the power of understanding and cognition but also imagination and speech were all moved by intuition and Truth.

While moving through these worlds of Truth built on the basis of Oneness, Aswapati witnesses as a contrast the worlds of division and ignorance where nothing is certain and everything is shrouded in obscurity and darkness.

Seer-King Aswapati looks at the world from those empyrean heights of the Spirit where Self and eternity alone are true. But slowly memory brings him back through the cry of once-loved cherished things.

Aswapati has seen the heights and Glories of the Spirit where the play of the One with the many is a perfect perfection. He is now one-pointed in his aspiration to call this world down into the material universe we inhabit.

Man is a depot of contraries. Himself in bonds he dreams of freedom; himself imperfect he aspires for a perfect world. This is so because man has a double nature. On the one side he has something in him that has descended from the heights, the immortal soul.

He would guide the world, himself he cannot guide; He would save his soul, his life he cannot save. The light his soul had brought his mind has lost;

Man is too weak to travel the great Path of ascent into a divine nature. ... The hope is there because behind man’s imperfect consciousness there stands the Divine, the Godhead who turns even failure and fall into a means for our progress and evolution.

The ‘Voice’ arising out of the Vision wonderful has cautioned and assured Aswapati. It has cautioned him that the boon he is asking may be too great and premature for earth. While he can be granted this boon if he so chooses but earth and humanity is not yet ready for the Supramental Force.

The Seer-King Aswapati is the forerunner of the race. He has embodied in his heart the anguish and the aspiration of earth and humanity. What is more is that he has seen behind the veil that hangs between the lower triple creation of the worlds of Mind, Life, Matter and the higher worlds of Oneness and Truth beyond.

Seer-King Aswapati, the forerunner and the pioneer of the New Creation, pleads on behalf of our ignorant humanity. ... Yes Time is not yet ripe but Her touch can alter the fixed front of Fate and change all future Time. Thus he invokes the Divine Mother to come down and heal the Earth and lead it out of the present darkness towards a greater and enduring Light of a New Creation upon Earth.

Aswapati has secured the boon of boons for Earth and men. The Divine Mother has consented to descend to earth and change the iron law of matter that binds the freedom of the Spirit. She herself must assume a human body for this to happen.

Sri Aurobindo uses the symbolism of seasons powerfully to reveal to us this deeper sense of the Divine Mother’s Birth. Nine months of preparations can be likened to three distinct cycles of evolution which prepares us for the fourth and final one when the Divine descends upon Earth.

Seasons are symbols of the moods of the Earth which it undergoes in its relationship to the Sun which is its center. Seen thus it also becomes a symbol of the human life and its matter bound personality to the soul.
